The Guadalajara Grill is a little stand in the Hukilau Marketplace that you pass by right before you get to the Polynesian Cultural Center. You do not have to enter the PCC to eat here. Anyway, we were looking for something quick before entering the PCC and decided to eat here. It was great! I got the fish tacos. They were the best fish tacos I've ever had! The person I went with got shrimp tacos, which she also liked. Both came with a side of rice and black beans. She didnt want the beans so she said not to give them to her and without her saying anything else, they just doubled the amount of rice they gave her. The girl working the counter was very nice and friendly, so good customer service. Finally, here's a tip - if you check in there on Yelp, you can get a free thing of chips and salsa. Definitely worth checking out if you are hungry at the PCC.

I have to admit for Mexican food in Hawaii their chicken quesadillas are pretty good and the chicken had really really good flavor. The best part is the guitar player they have he tells hilarious jokes and is a really good singer and a very cute nice kid, although he is 23, lol.

My wife and I ate lunch here. We both had the chimichanga with ground beef. I eat a lot of Mexican food. I would probably say it was the best chimichanga we've ever had. Or maybe I wasn't expecting it to be that good out of a food truck but I would highly recommend it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!! GO TO "Papi's Taco foodtruck"!! This place USE TO BE good but now; food quality SUCKS, I ALWAYS get old stale enchiladas. One time my plate was cold like its been sitting on the counter from a previous messed up order. Customer service both on the phone and in person is HORRIBLE. The older lady was giving me a snobby, impatient attitude. And when I asked for their homemade hot sauce she acted as if it was a BIG DIFFICULT task to pour it into a sauce cup. Guadalajara grill is no longer my recommendation for Mexican food now.

We had fish tacos and a chimichanga. Both were very good. Probably our best meal on the island. You can sit behind the food truck in a cute tent area. The night we were there they had a guy planning a guitar and singing. He was very good! Great visit!!!
